June 17, 2002 – Denver, CO. - MarketWise.com LLC, headquartered outside Denver, CO., has announced that due
to strong national and international demand, it will expand to Montreal,
Canada with new partner The Jitney Group, Inc., followed by a Toronto
operation in early 2003. MarketWise-Canada, as it will be called, comes
on the heals of MarketWise’s expansion to the heart of the financial
world with the opening of a new office in Manhattan. While the electronic
trading industry has only recently begun to focus on professional market
education, it has been the charter of MarketWise since its’ inception
over five years ago. The new location, located at 360 St-Jacques St, W.,
16th floor Montreal (Quebec) H2Y 1P5, will open in September 2002. Townsend
Analytics - maker of the RealTick® Trading Platform – will provide
the technology for students to perform live and simulated trading.
